BASE CO-DIRECTOR, MISSION ADVENTURES LEADER
Chris was born and raised in Kelowna. He did his DTS in San Pedro Belize and later joined the staff team at the base in West Kelowna before moving with our founders to pioneer YWAM Global Gateway in Oliver. He became part of the leadership team in 2021. Chris has seen the base through many transitions and is a faithful and dedicated leader. He has a heart for serving our community, introducing young people to the world of missions and challenging them to experience victory over the flesh the world and the devil
CHRIS HAGEL
BASE CO-DIRECTOR, DTS LEADER
Aliane was born and raised in Brazil where she started her journey with YWAM before moving to Spain and later to Canada in 2018/19. She originally came to Global Gateway to learn English through EFM school. During her school, the Lord spoke to her to move to Canada and serve at the base. In 2021, she became apart of the leadership team. Aliane has worked in various ministries over the years including DTS, evangelism, administration, and working with women in crisis. Her call within missions is to be a prophetess to the nations and she is strongly gifted and passionate about making disciples.
ALIANE MARQUES
MAINTENANCE, DTS, MEDIA, THRIVE CLUB
John David was born and raised in Samoa. He joined YWAM Global Gateway in 2019. He came as a student for the English for Missions school and went on to do his DTS before deciding to stay on as a staff member. Destinee did her DTS in Madison Wisconsin and relocated to Oliver in 2021 to join Global Gateway's staff team. John David and Destinee got to know each other while serving at the base and were later married. Their missional passion is to work with young people. John David is passionate about sports and encouraging youth to find their identity in Christ and Destinee's heart is for women and children at risk and ministering in compassion and justice

Alejo was key in bringing YWAM to Oliver. He was an active member of the board and part time staff member for many years before making a full time commitment as staff in 2021. He married Ronalyn the same year and sponsored her to come to Canada. Alejo and Ronalyn embody faith in action. They are passionate about reaching the lost and hurting with the love of Jesus and invest their time and energy to serve our community

Billy was born and raised in South Africa and Kenia grew up as a missionary kid in Columbia, Canada and Mexico. They met and served for many years in YWAM Muizenberg before moving to Canada in 2021. Billy is a passionate worship leader and motivator, a gifted networker and has a heart for identity, dignity, destiny, reconciliation and God's heart for the nations. Kenia is a gifted teacher and has a heart for reaching families and children.
